I was asked to photograph it by the organisers and jumped at the chance as one of my favourite bands were playing.
I’d not shot a festival before, so decided to shoot it as I would a wedding, capturing the vibe of the day and concentrating on the festival goers rather than the bands.
Alderford Lake did an outstanding job, it certainly didn’t feel as though it was their first festival. I’d say it was very well organised and I loved every minute of it. If you have the opportunity I would definitely suggest going to this family friendly festival next year.
I had to get a selfie with Joseph Washbourn the lead singer of Toploader after their set. 🙌🙌🙌
